An 11 member Executive Committee provides a smaller, more nimble decision-making body to respond to day-to-day management needs of the Consortium, set the agenda for Steering Committee meetings, and make decisions regarding the allocation of grant resources.
The Consortium Executive Committee is comprised of the following member organizations:
- City of Newark
- City of Jersey City
- Bergen County
- Hudson County
- Hunterdon County
- NJ Office of Planning Advocacy
- NJ TRANSIT
- The Chair of each of TOGETHER NORTH JERSEY’s three standing committees
Rutgers-Bloustein serves as Secretary and Chair of the Executive Committee and serves as a non-voting member unless any vote of the Executive Committee results in a tie. In this instance, Rutgers-Bloustein casts the tie-breaking vote.
