TOGETHER NORTH JERSEY issued a Request for Qualifications from consulting firms and non-governmental organizations for two distinct programs:

  • The first, the Local Government Capacity Grant Program (LGCGP) sought planning consultants and non-governmental organizations (i.e., community-based, service-based and issue-based organizations) with demonstrated capabilities to deliver planning technical assistance to county and local governments in Northern New Jersey.   TOGETHER NORTH JERSEY has established a list of “On-Call” pre-qualified contractors to help build the capacity of local governments to support and materially advance the development of a Regional Plan for Sustainable Development  (RPSD) for the 13-county North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) region. Click to see: Pre-Qualified Contractor List – “On-Call” Roster #1 for Local Planning Technical Assistance Services.

Contractors  selected for “On-Call” Rosters may have an opportunity to provide technical services for either of the two distinct programs being established by TOGETHER NORTH JERSEY.  The deadline for Statements of Qualifications submissions was October 8th, 2012.

TOGETHER NORTH JERSEY is being funded with a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant program, along with leveraged federal and local funds.
