“Discovery Phase” public workshops were held with participating counties and cities during the Spring of 2013.

Together North Jersey is undertaking an extensive outreach process in support of the Regional Plan for Sustainable Development (RPSD) throughout the planning process.

The purpose of the outreach is to provide information on the planning process and get feedback on regional planning goals, shared values and priorities through “listen and learn” activities.

That outreach process is divided into three distinct phases:

TNJ has completed the Discovery  and Visioning Phases of the process, and will begin transitioning to the Action Planning Phase during Summer 2015. In addition, TNJ carried out a Summer Engagement Series in partnership with NJ.com. The series consisted of dozens of interactive posts on the NJ.com website that allowed readers to give feedback and express opinions.

There are many ways to be a part of this process. To be as accessible as possible, Together North Jersey hosts workshops in all areas of the planning region. To stay updated on events and outreach activities near you,  subscribe to our newsletter, visit our calendar, or like us on Facebook.
